How does Forkful work?
Forkful is a marketplace that allows hospitality venues (cafes, restaurants, bakeries, hotels and pub groups) and food retailers (supermarkets, delis, green grocers) to upload and sell their quality surplus menu items and food to consumers. This means that large amounts of quality food isn’t going to waste, but instead sold and eaten.

How much does it cost?
Forkful is free to browse and shop, and there is no minimum spend.

How do I pick up the food?
Easy! Show your order confirmation to the staff, and you will receive the food you have purchased.

What’s the quality of the food like though?
Top-notch! Our partner venues are committed to preparing the food items offered on Forkful in compliance with all legislation relating to the handling, storing and transportation of food and following industry requirements.

The food sold on Forkful is surplus food, which can at times mean it may not look as pretty as you’d expect, but as the saying goes, it doesn’t have to look good, as long as it tastes good!

Will a listing ever be by it’s use-by?
Absolutely not.

Ok, I’m sold how do we pay?
Payment is made at the checkout stage, via credit card (Visa/Mastercard/Amex/Maestro).

What if I have placed an order and want to change or add some items?
Once an order has been placed, there is no way to add an item. You will need to make an additional purchase to add items.

I haven’t got my receipt?
Please contact us with the name under which you purchased the goods, and we’ll get onto sending you one pronto!

What happens if I’m not satisfied with my purchase?
Please contact us as soon as possible, maximum 12 hours, with a replacement of refund as appropriate.
